Why do I need a termite warranty on a new house?
This is the best time to start a termite warranty. The home will be inspected every year and problems will be addressed as they occur. The cost for keeping a termite warranty in place is minimal compared to the cost of a treatment after an infestation occurs.
Why should I renew my termite warranty if I am selling my home?
Most mortgage companies are going to require a wood destroying insect report to be done on the home before you can close. If you have renewed your termite warranty, we are then responsible for any termite problems that may show up on the report. A common problem that will fail this report is wood debris in the crawl space.
Why do I have bugs? I am a very clean person.
Insects are just like people. They need food and water to survive. They also like to be cool when it is hot outside and warm when it is cold outside. Weather plays a big role in the pest problems in the home. Dry weather or extremely wet weather causes different pest problems.
How is Killingsworth different from every other pest control company?
All pest control companies use similar chemicals and must treat according to N.C. Department of Agriculture rules and regulations. The difference is in the constant training, the emphasis on customer service and the team approach to solving problems. We also have the manpower to keep your wait time for an appointment manageable.
Do I have to wait all day for my technician?
Killingsworth schedules appointments on the hour. Our technicians are generally on time. They are required to call the customer if they are going to be ten or more minutes late. Traffic is usually our main problem, but trucks do break down occasionally and emergencies do happen. We always try to work this out with the least amount of impact to the customer.
I am not sure I can afford pest control, can you help?
Yes, we offer payments with no interest or service charges for the first six months of the contract. All we require is one-sixth of the total each month for the first six months of the contract.
