Hi folks. I'm Mike Rogers, president of Killingsworth Environmental. I want to thank you for taking the time to watch this presentation. I’m here today to walk to you about Killingsworth Komfort Air. The world class customer service that has been protecting your house against pests and termites for the past 20 years can now keep your home cool in the summer and warm in the winter. At some point in time you’ve experienced or know someone who’s experienced a problem with their heating and air unit.
Boy: Mom it’s really hot in here.
Mom: You know, you’re right. Let me go check the thermostat.
This issue seems to come on the colder day of the year or smack in the middle of summer. I don’t think anything could be worse than having a 100 degree day with 95 percent humidity and you don’t have a way of keeping your house cool. But since you are a valued customer we now have a treat for you. We can keep your heating and air unit in tip top shape by providing you with an annual preventative maintenance program. We call it our KFPM or Killingsworth Family Preventative Maintenance Service. Since we consider you to be part of our family we ought to make sure we take care of your family. Our KFPM service will consist of two visits to your home per year to inspect your heating and air unit. We want to make sure it will run to its maximum capacity when you need it the most. We’ve even taken this a step further by making sure that if you have a problem we will prioritize your needs first. Just like the saying goes family first, that’s right! By being a KFPM customer any service call that you have will be moved to the front of the line in the worst time of the year.
During our two annual visits we will conduct our 12 point Killingsworth Komfort Air inspection. Here’s what a Killingsworth 12 point inspection consists of. Number one we will inspect and clean your outdoor unit. Now understand we aren’t going to just clean it. We are going to look deep inside the unit to see if there are any issues that might pop up down the road that might keep you from being cool in the summer or warm in the winter. Number two we will inspect your outdoor unit for insect infestation. Keep in mind we are the bug guys. We are the experts. We can tell if there is any kind of insects that are living in the unit that might cause it to break down or become a problem later on. The insects need three things to service, that’s food water and harborage. An outdoor unit makes a perfect space for that to happen and insect infestation is a real big problem sometimes. Number three we will flush the condensation lines and check the pumps. Number four we will inspect the drains, pans, and indoor coil. Number five we will check the evaporator for adequate air flow. Number six we will also check the evaporation drain for any gathering water. Number seven we will check the operating pressures and temperatures. Number eight we will check the condenser motor bearings and amps. Number nine we will check the refrigerant level. Number ten we will inspect the fan blades and blower and the motor. Number eleven we will also make sure that the operating sequence is in working order. Number twelve, and finally, we are going to check the thermostat. That’s very important.
