Water Extraction & Removal Process
Once the water restoration inspection is complete, it is time to remove all standing water in the space. Water extraction is very easy for us to do because we have truck mounts that we use for carpet cleaning. This is the fastest water removal process possible. It works so fast that we could probably suck all of the water out of a swimming pool in under 2 hours.
Water extraction is just the first step to water restoration. Once we get the standing water out of the space, we need begin drying all of the moisture that may be deep down in the walls or floors. We use an Injectidry system that allows us to extract all water and dry hardwoods, tile floors, inside walls and cabinets. Being able to extract water without removing things like cabinets will save you a lot of time and money.
Our E-TES heaters are state-of-the-art equipment will increase the temperature in an area over 80 degrees and get the relative humidity below 40 degrees. These are optimal conditions for water extraction and drying. This makes the water molecules move faster and jump out of what they are in. Our dehumidifiers grab the vapor and turn it back into water that is redirected to a drain.
Once the water removal and drying process has been completed the monitoring begins. We will monitor the space until dry. We will come out to your home or business once a day and do tests until we see that the space is completely dry. This should only take a couple of days. We use the best equipment and follow a process that will get your home completely dry in the fastest time possible. This is so important because most insurance companies give you only about three days to get the space dry.
